TRILUX GmbH & Co. KG is an independent familyrun company situated in Arnsberg, where the firm presently employs about 1250 people. In addition to the main plant, TRILUX Medizintechnik (medicinal technology) as well as the subsidiary BAG Electronics GmbH are located in Arnsberg. The TRILUX Group employs about 3900 people worldwide, amongst others in further production facilities in China, the Philippines and Spain. The portfolio comprises interior and exterior luminaires, installation systems for medical applications and electronic components for luminaires.
The luminaire company has also expanded internationally: The first companies for the distribution of luminaires were founded in neighbouring European countries in the late 1950s. TRILUX marketing companies have been gradually established in Europe. Now numerous legally independent corporations in Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Spain, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and Slovakia belong to the TRILUX Group. TRILUX products and services are available all over the word via further distributors.
The name TRILUX originates from a technical innovation by the company: The self-developed so-called linear fluorescent luminaire allowed a three-fold luminous efficiency compared to conventional incandescent lamps (tri [lat.] = three, lux [lat.] = light).
TRILUX considers itself as a provider of lighting solutions. Products are used worldwide for applications
